François Maurin has a breadth of experience that makes him a first-class course-leader and performance coach in the business world.

Born in Montélimar, France, in 1967, François grew up in Tunisia and was educated in Lyon, graduating with an MBA from the prestigious École Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon (now the EMLYON Business School).

For seven years François worked as a financial and commercial manager for the French children’s television network Canal J while attending the renowned Cours Florent acting school, whose alumni also include Isabelle Adjani, Daniel Auteuil, Sophie Marceau and Audrey Tautou.

Launching his performing career in Los Angeles, François both acted on screen and worked as a dubbing actor, scriptwriter and counsellor. Inspired by Hollywood’s pragmatic professionalism, François returned to Europe as a communication consultant, coaching CEOs and other business leaders in the key management skills of advocacy, negotiation and public speaking. He has been a highly valued colleague of David Milne since 2009.

Still a keen actor with a passion for comedy, François is also a dedicated tenor saxophonist, guitarist, songwriter and t’ai chi enthusiast.

Spoken communication is at the heart of human interactions. For many reasons, people have simply forgotten how to captivate and enroll their audiences. My goal is to give them back this gift of nature through acting techniques everyone should know!
